What we collect

We collect only what you type into the waitlist form. There are two versions of it.

If you join as a shopper, we collect your name, email address, and city.

If you join as a store partner, we collect your name, store name, city, phone number, and email address.

We do not collect payment details, identity documents, or date of birth. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies on this site.

Information collected automatically

When you submit the form, our server briefly reads the IP address of the request in order to rate-limit submissions and block automated spam. This is held in memory only, for a short window, and is not written to our records or linked to your entry.

The form also contains a hidden field that real people never fill in. If it is filled in, we treat the submission as automated and discard it.

Why we use it

We use what you give us to:

• send you a confirmation that you are on the waitlist;
• tell you when VasthraShree opens in your city;
• contact you about partnership onboarding, if you signed up as a store.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Who processes it

Waitlist entries are stored in Google Sheets and delivered there through Google Apps Script. Confirmation emails are sent from contact@vasthrashree.com using Google Workspace. This website is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server request logs on our behalf.

These providers process data under their own terms and may store it outside India.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist entries until we launch and have contacted you, or until you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first. If we decide not to launch in your city, we delete the entries for that city.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email contact@vasthrashree.com from the address you signed up with and we will action it within 30 days. Every email we send also has an unsubscribe option.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change, and we will change the date at the top when we do. Because we are pre-launch, expect this policy to be expanded when the marketplace itself opens.
